Here is an issue I encountered for the first time today.

1. When opening a case, I added a new client

2. Then when you go back to search for the client, and if you have two different clients with the same name, they both come up with the same name only, so there is no way to determine which is the new client.

Could another field be added to that particular search result, such as email address or cell phone number to distinguish between the two?

Another issue around the same thing.

I attempted to edit one by adding a "1" after the last name of one of them. Then when I opened a case and searched for the client they both came up and both last names had the "1" after the last name. So that did not help

In the edit under clients I also tried to add an email address that was not showing, although I had initially added it during the client creation process.

Then when I searched for that client it showed the same email address for both clients.

Original Post

Rick ... Take a look at the following: I've got three clients with 1st name of Joe... Search on that only ... gives me the following.  Note, email address of each is different ... So you can determine which client.

One of these has email of samspade56@hotmail.com.  Look at  next image.  I am  searching only for 'Sam' which is contained in the email.

I'm not sure what you're doing.  Send screen shots of what your seeing.  As you can see we do handle this issue.
