For those that were following this thread. Rick Crouch had identified that his system was not updating as advertised. As it turns out the issue was/is associated to an add on module ( apps) in chrome browser. Specifically, 360 Internet Protection. Rick disabled that app and viola ... all works as advertised. Thanks Rick for the update.
