With Guest Users, you can have CaseWorks display financial information (that is located in the upper left hand corner or not. I would like to be able to assign unique logins to my clients so that they can login and have access to only the case information that I want them to see. What is the best way to manage this feature in CaseWorks?
Evey, Here's how that is accomplished in CaseWorks
The User ID is there unique id, which will be assigned by you.
Once you've established them as a User, and want to grant case access you must do the following once: Go to the system profile:
Once your there: Select the Case Mgt Tab and make sure to say yes to 'Control Case Access By Individual users.
Now to make cases visible to the user there are two ways:
The first is global, where you go to home screen and select users, choose the user you want to focus on and hit the Case Access Button:
Once there you will see all the case in the system and can grant access there
The 2nd method to grant access is at the case screen:
In the options column for the case you want to grant access to, hit the options drop down and select security
Once there you will see all users and this is where you can grant or exclude access to cases
